Former WWE Superstar Zelina Vega, whose real name is Thea Trinidad, is now free to compete following her WWE release earlier this year. During her time with the company, she built an impressive résumé, becoming the inaugural Queen of the Ring, capturing the WWE Women’s United States Championship, and challenging for the Women’s World Championship in front of a passionate crowd in Puerto Rico.
Now, a new chapter begins.
As the clock struck midnight, Trinidad debuted a cinematic vignette on her Twitch channel, officially introducing the world to “Xelina.” The nearly six-minute video serves as both a personal reflection and a statement of what’s to come, ending with the simple message: “Coming Soon.”
The emotional video opens with Trinidad’s niece portraying a younger version of herself, as the present-day Xelina speaks to the child she once was. Throughout the vignette, Trinidad reflects on her journey while touching on one of the most heartbreaking moments of her life—the loss of her father during the September 11 attacks.
From there, the video shifts toward her wrestling career, highlighting several of her accomplishments while also featuring appearances from those closest to her. Former on-screen partner and current AEW star Andrade appears in the vignette, alongside her husband Aleister Black and multiple members of her family, blending her personal and professional worlds into one powerful presentation.
