Your guide to TUW 13: Rogowsky vs. Varghese

Read Time:2 Minute, 15 Second

The fourth round of The Ultimate Writer Season 3 is officially underway. TUW 13 will feature an epic clash in the card’s headliner as we resume bracket matchups.

If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 16 of the best combat sports writers around the world in a competition where article views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly and for this round specifically, highest total view count will secure the writer a win.

This fourth card showcases an insane main event. The 2x TUW runner-up Connor Rogowsky will take on the Newbie front-runner, Kevin Varghese. In the co-main event, you have last year’s TUW, Katie Vega taking on her former partner and surging newcomer, Dylan Fritts.

Week 4 is very critical in the competition, as winners will move on in the bracket and losers could potentially get eliminated. The two writers with the lowest overall view count will automatically be eliminated and those with the highest will receive a gift from our Sponsors at Game Face Wipes.

Underrated Matchup

This week is absolutely stacked with crazy close matchups. Because of that, it was a bit easier to choose the underrated matchup this week. Ryan Truland vs. Juan Reneo is going to be a fun one that should have all eyes on it. Both guys were eliminated last week and together, won themselves back into the bracket.

Will Spain move one step closer to having their first Ultimate Writer? or does Ryan play spoiler and move on to next week in the Winner’s Bracket? Tune in next week to find out…

Matchup of the Week

Every single matchup is truly the Matchup of the Week. But if we had to pick one, look no further than our main event. Both guys are front runners for their team, so whoever loses is taking out a serious contender to win the entire season.

Connor Rogowsky has been consistent throughout ever season of TUW only losing twice. Can he continue his tradition to making it to the finals? Or does Kevin Varghese spoil the Vet’s chances? We can’t wait to see how this ne plays out.

Underdog to Watch

The Underdog to Watch was an easy one to pick this week. Going up against a former TUW Winner is no easy task. But last week during their tag team match, Dylan Fritts beat Katie Vega. If he pulls off this upset, he changes the landscape of the change, along with our Matchup of the Week.

Last week 10 views separated the two. What will happen this week as they go head-to-head in the most critical round yet? You don’t want to miss TUW 13!
