The Scrap’s 2023 Content Creator of the Year: Jake Noecker
In The Scrap’s 5 years of existence, we’ve not only expanded in the type of written content we provide. Since 2020, we’ve been making video content for the masses and building our channel along the way. Towards the end of 2022, we decided to focus on YouTube and brought on the first wave on creators who would change everything for the site.
We’ve retired several awards since our inception. But now we’re in our new era while finding our niche. So, we’re excited to award second-ever Content Creator of the Year… The winner of this award is consistent, and is someone who brings forth both views and diversity in their content. They’re a key player on the team and integral part to The Scrap’s success. They are also a leader in their space who constantly strives to evolve and be better every day.
Nominees:
Juan Reneo, Kyle Dimond, Jake Noecker & Austin Luff
The Content Creator of the Year: Jake Noecker
We remember stumbling upon Jake Noecker randomly one day while scrolling through social media. At the time, we were looking to build our YouTube channel and needed a consistent Interviewer. Sometimes it’s hard to find someone fresh, eager, and willing to help build something from the ground up. We found that, and more in Jake.
After being lured in by his personality and interview style, we knew we had to reach out. In his first full year with The Scrap, he had 125 interviews, over 16k views, and brought on so many new faces. We witnessed him make his UFC media debut, step in to the world of BJJ, and hone in on the local talent fighting for CFFC. Today, he’s one of the best in the game and an up-and-comer to watch. For those reasons, and so many more, there was no other choice for this year’s award.
Congratulations, Jake!
