Terrance McKinney previews UFC 311: Makhachev vs. Tsarukyan 2
In the latest edition of our Main Event Preview, we cover the upcoming title fight at UFC 311 between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan. This time, we are joined by fellow UFC lightweight, Terrance McKinney, to provide some much-needed insight. Terrance keeps a close eye on all matchups in the lightweight division and advises his opponents to do the same. We discuss who has improved more since their first fight, Islam’s wrestling, and the champ’s toughest fight in the division.
Islam Makhachev has continued his reign of dominance in the sport while improving with each fight. Arman Tsarukyen has beaten top contenders the likes of Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush, and others, as he paved his path to a rematch. Speaking of the rematch, we saw Islam go through one of the toughest tests of his career. In their first meeting back in 2019, a well-rounded MMA contest went down that highlighted the skills of both men. Expect nothing different when they meet again at UFC 311. Especially with the fight being five rounds this time, as Terrance highlights in the MEP.
Tune in as Terrance McKinney helps us break down the stylistic matchup most true fight fans are excited about. Make sure you do not miss UFC 311 on January 18th. It all goes down inside the new Inuit Dome in Inglewood, California, live on PPV.
