Christian Cage defeats Kenny Omega on AEW Rampage
On last night’s debut episode of All Elite Wrestling: Rampage, Christian Cage faced Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship. If Christian won, he would challenge Omega at All Out for the AEW World Championship.
Omega vs. Cage kicked off the show and unsurprisingly the two had a stellar match. Christian won after Don Callis distracted the referee, and Christian took advantage. He nailed Kenny with a vicious Killswitch on a chair to win the Impact World Championship. This is Christian’s first world championship since he had to retire in 2014, before making his comeback to pro wrestling.
Christian Cage will move on to AEW All Out in Chicago where he will have a chance to win Kenny Omega’s AEW World Championship next.
Does Christian get the job done again at AEW All Out? Let us know in the comments below.
