Before I get into her actual story, I want to talk about how I found Lady Frost. I usually find these talented women to feature via countless hours of going through Instagram.

There are a few people that have stood out to me, but right away, Lady Frost was one of them.

I immediately was interested in her superhero look, and I HAD to know her story. And it starts out very similar to other wrestlers and fans. However, wrestling runs in her blood — her grandfather was also a wrestler.

Frost got her start as a Valet, managing her husband. “I was Inspired by nearly everyone, there was a lot of talent and emotion,” said Frost. This planted the seed for her wrestling career to come.

Her in-ring career started when she became a manager. “I was told that a mandatory training needed to happen,” said Frost. Since she was a competitive gymnast and dancer, the movements came naturally to her. But when she started this mandatory training, she didn’t want to wrestle. A year later, those plans changed.

Although her mandatory training as a manager felt forced, she couldn’t wait to start training after she made the decision. “I had so much to give and couldn’t wait to hit the ground running,” said Frost.

Beyond Wrestling broke the mold with inter-gender wrestling, and holds a special place in her heart now, where she’s able to work with her husband as a tag team. In many promotions around the world, this opportunity usually doesn’t happen.

It goes without saying her first match was a special moment, but even more special was the first time she wrestled with her husband.

“When my husband came back from neck surgery and we were side by side, I think in that moment, I nearly cried.”

Perhaps the biggest moment of her career came on March 26th, 2018. Under the name Jamie Frost, she had a match on Monday Night Raw against the then undefeated Asuka. “I felt as if it was a live tryout, a test, and that I did the best with my experience level,” said Frost. As it would with anybody that reached that stage, it elevated her goals.

Although Lady Frost is focused on getting back to “the grandest stage”, she has smaller goals too, like building a name for herself. She wants nothing more than to be recognized for her hard work, and morale. Neither of which can be denied.
