Card Preview & Predictions for Crown Jewel

Crown Jewel is shaping up to be a must-watch event. Below, we break down each matchup, provide our predictions, and highlight the key storylines ahead of the big night:

Men’s Crown Jewel Championship: World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn

The way this is being positioned, it feels like Roman Reigns is taking the loss.

Sami Zayn closed the go-home episode of Raw by laying Roman out with a Helluva Kick after The 946 got involved, and I could see a similar scene playing out in Riyadh. The 946 interfering again would help set up their WarGames match against The Bloodline. It also makes sense for Sami to get his moment in Riyadh, where the crowd loves him. I’m going with Zayn.

Prediction: Sami Zayn

Women’s Crown Jewel Championship: WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green vs. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan

At this point, Tiffany Stratton cashing in feels so obvious that I’m starting to think it won’t happen.

With the year Chelsea Green is having, this feels like another moment that should belong to her. Liv Morgan has already won the Crown Jewel Championship, and I’m picking Chelsea to add her name to that list. She’s on her world domination tour, after all.

Prediction: Chelsea Green

Last Man Standing: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton

You can’t keep having Randy Orton lose to Cody Rhodes, especially when he just returned again. Another loss would take whatever life this feud has left and punt it into the stands. Randy has to win this one, and that’s who I’m going with. The real question is whether losing pushes Cody further toward a heel turn.

Prediction: Randy Orton

World Tag Team Championships: Bron Breakker & Austin Theory (c) vs. Penta & Je’Von Evans

Simply because I want Penta’s first tag title run to be with Rey Fenix, I’m going with The Vision to retain.

But with everyone watching Tiffany Stratton, Penta’s briefcase could deliver the surprise. Could losing this match make people write him off, only for him to cash in on Roman Reigns at the end of the night? Je’Von deserves gold, but this isn’t how I want to see him win it.

Prediction: Bron Breakker & Austin Theory
