Season 1, Episode 6: ‘Stepping Into The Spotlight’

Meanwhile, Shawn Michaels addresses the Future Greats, informing them that those who have yet to compete will make their in-ring debuts in front of a live audience. Elijah Holyfield selects Anthony Luke as his first opponent. As the matchups are announced, the teams come together to review their Legends’ debut performances.

The Matches on Episode 6
Bayley Humphrey vs. Dani Sekelsky
Dani Sekelsky entered the match with some bruises. Bayley looked massive and incredibly intimidating. She’s a stark contrast to WWE’s typical recruits—which is always a refreshing change. The crowd wasted no time breaking into ‘Bayley is gonna kill you’ chants. Though Bayley faced some adversity, she ultimately sealed the victory with a devastating skull crush.
Sirena Linton vs. Penina Tuilaepa
The inexperience was evident in this match. While watching, Booker T and Mickie James urged the competitors to slow things down. Penina Tuilaepa showcased her natural heel instincts, pushing boundaries by stretching Sirena’s mouth with her fingers. At one point, Sirena Linton attempted a move but got zero air, nearly injuring herself. Fortunately, the match concluded safely, with Penina sealing the win with a Samoan drop.
Chris Island vs. Drake Morreaux
Though Chris Island had competed in singles matches on WWE LFG before, this was his first in front of a live crowd. The match maintained a solid pace, with both men displaying great in-ring chemistry. While Chris still has a few things to refine, he showed noticeable improvement throughout. In the end, Drake Morreaux secured the victory with a chokeslam.
Elijah Holyfield vs. Anthony Luke
Elijah Holyfield’s entrance lacked excitement, but his insane physique more than made up for it. Anthony Luke played the perfect heel, struggling against Elijah’s raw power but outsmarting him in key moments. The Undertaker praised Elijah’s instincts, especially for a debut match. Midway through, Luke made the mistake of trying to outbox a Holyfield, leading Elijah to unleash a series of body shots. The crowd rallied behind him, chanting his last name. In the end, Elijah secured the victory with a roll-up pin. Overall, both men delivered, with Anthony doing a great job making Elijah look strong.
Why You Should Watch
As part of their journey, four competitors will step into the ring for matches that could determine their WWE futures.
