Your guide to TUW 19: Simpson & Goble vs. The Dylans

The third round of The Ultimate Writer Season 4 is finally here, and it will feature the first round matchups from our official tournament bracket. TUW 19 will feature a main event between our first and eighth ranked teams. In the co-main event, the second and seventh ranked teams will battle it out. So that means we have reached the point in our competition where teams will be start to get eliminated. This round is one of them…
If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 16 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where article views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly; but for this round specifically, the teams with the highest total overall views will get the win. This next round will also be two weeks long, and will feature our final team joining the competition… The Mystery Duo.
This third card will help us move the competition forward, and get us one step closer to crowning our first-ever tag team Ultimate Writer winners.

Remember…
New teams were formed after last week’s results due to the shake-up. So Dylan Fritts & Dylan Bowker are on a team and so are Juan Reneo & Josh Diaz. Hopefully the new duos could start to build chemistry, and fast. Most of the teams have been together since the beginning, so it does put them at a disadvantage.
Also, let’s not forget that because Katie Vega & Shawn Bitter won the main event last week, they will get an advantage over the competition. But that won’t be revealed to the public until it’s used by them.
The Mystery Duo Debuts
No, you won’t even know who they are while they are competing these next two weeks. That’s the fun part about the mystery team… Whether they win or lose, they will be revealed to the public after these two weeks are over. One thing you should know about this duo though, is we didn’t choose them to debut last for no reason.
They will undoubtedly be key players this season.
The Main & Co-Main Event
We’re pretty pumped for all of the matchups this week! We have Katie Vega & Shawn Bitter vs. Kevin Varghese & Jake Foley in the co-main event, and the matchup is quite intriguing. We know who the powerhouses are, but if Kevin is able to get back to what he did last season, this matchup could be a lot closer than we think. Especially if Jake went back to creating YouTube content as well.
As for the main event, our top ranked team of newbies, Lewis Simpson & Makoa Goble take on the last-ranked team of Dylan Bowker & Dylan Fritts. They are ranked number one for a reason, so we do expect a squash here. But you never know what could happen in The Ultimate Writer… we’ve seen crazier things occur believe it or not.
