After the success of PFL Africa 1, the Professional Fighters League returns with its first 2025 World Tournament Finals event. This time, the spotlight shifts to Atlantic City, where champions in the featherweight and welterweight divisions will be crowned.

In the main event, undefeated Thad Jean puts his perfect record on the line against battle-tested wrestler Logan Storley for the welterweight title. Featherweight gold is also up for grabs as unbeaten Movlid Khaybulaev collides with knockout artist Jesus Pinedo in a guaranteed banger. The main card also features two rising stars: Asaël Adjoudj and Jordan Newman, both looking to prove themselves against their toughest competition to date.

On the undercard, 2024 PFL Europe Champion Jakub Kaszuba meets scrappy fan-favorite Sergio Cossio in a pivotal lightweight clash that could earn the winner a World Tournament spot next year. Also featured are familiar names like Nathan Kelly and Husein Kadimagomaev, both eager to climb the ranks.

Keep an eye on the prelims too. Sarek Shields vs. Nick Meck promises nonstop pressure with their wrestling-heavy styles and win streaks on the line. And in a potential Fight of the Night, undefeated Isaiah Diggs faces veteran Damion Nelson in a high-stakes showdown.

With title fights, breakout performances, and tournament futures on the line, this card is a can’t-miss. Here’s your guide to the full lineup, tournament finales, and predictions:

PFL World Tournament Welterweight Championship

Thad Jean vs. Logan Storley

Thad Jean enters this bout with a perfect 10-0 record. A last-minute addition to the tournament, Jean has made the most of his opportunity. He knocked out Mukhamed Berkhamov in the opening round, then headlined PFL World Tournament 5 against former Bellator champion Jason Jackson, earning a close decision win. Now, he faces another former Bellator champ, seasoned wrestler Logan Storley, with PFL gold on the line.

Storley is a highly credentialed wrestler who has faced top welterweights throughout his career. From RFA and LFA to his long run in Bellator and now in his second PFL World Tournament, he has remained a tough and consistent presence. At just 32 years old, Storley brings 21 pro bouts of experience and is still in his physical prime. He’ll look to prove that while standing across from a surging young contender.

From a stylistic standpoint, this may seem like a classic striker vs. grappler matchup. But, there’s more to it. Jean has strong hips and excellent ability to get back to his feet. He maintains a high work rate, shows fluidity on the ground, and delivers power-packed strikes, mixing in big kicks with his punches.

Storley will look to close the distance and lean on his wrestling. He’s been five rounds with elite opponents and has the experience edge heading into this fight.

These contrasting styles will create windows of opportunity. Both men are capable finishers and will be chasing a win however they can. In a three-round fight, the shorter format favors Jean. He’ll have the freedom to let his hands go and put pressure on Storley. In the end, look for Jean to overwhelm him with strikes and remain undefeated, continuing his rise as one of PFL’s brightest stars.

Prediction: Thad Jean via 2nd-Round KO/TKO

PFL World Tournament Featherweight Championship

Movlid Khaybulaev vs. Jesus Pinedo

The featherweight division has delivered some of the PFL’s most exciting matchups, and this final brings together two of its longtime staples. Both fighters have competed in the PFL since 2019 and already hold tournament titles. As they enter the 2025 final, they’ve been tested, but this may be their toughest challenge yet.

2021 champion Movlid Khaybulaev defeated veteran Jeremy Kennedy and rising prospect Tae Kyun Kim, both by decision. Though tested on the feet, Khaybulaev pulled away with dominant grappling and forward pressure.

Now he faces hard-hitting Pinedo, a relentless striker with a strong base and solid takedown defense. To get here, Pinedo finished Adam Borics and avenged his loss to Gabriel Braga, both by first-round knockout. That kind of momentum makes him a dangerous threat inside the SmartCage.

Expect Pinedo to apply pressure early, forcing Khaybulaev to fight off his back foot where his striking and takedowns are less effective. If Khaybulaev gets on top, he’ll use heavy pressure and hunt elbows. But Pinedo’s urgency to escape and find the finish could be the difference. Once he finds his range, his power may be too much.

Prediction: Jesus Pinedo via 1st-Round KO/TKO
