Card Preview & Predictions for WWE Elimination Chamber 2026

The Elimination Chamber is shaping up to be a must-watch event. Below, we break down each matchup, provide our predictions, and highlight the key storylines ahead of the big night:

World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Finn Bálor

I won’t lie, I hate title matches on PLEs before WrestleMania because the winners almost always feel obvious. This is one of those cases.

There is no way WWE takes the title off CM Punk when the matchup with Roman Reigns is already set and fans are fully intrigued. The WrestleMania main event is locked in, and the story is too strong to derail now.

While Finn Bálor absolutely deserves another title run, especially considering he has been a main event player before, I just cannot see WWE jeopardizing a WrestleMania main event that is positioned to close the entire weekend.

There really is not much else to say. CM Punk is winning.

Prediction: CM Punk

Men’s Elimination Chamber Match: Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Je’Vons Evans vs. Trick Williams vs. Logan Paul

It took a lot of twists and turns to land on these six. But, this is one of the most intriguing Elimination Chamber lineups in a while. WWE could absolutely take the safe route here, and most likely will. Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes would be the obvious, defensible choices. But I’m not convinced that’s what the WWE Universe wants right now, especially when it comes to Cody.

LA Knight feels like the crowd-driven option. He’s been fully backed by the fans for a long time, and this match feels tailor-made for a massive breakout moment if WWE finally decides to pull the trigger.

Then there’s the wildcard that keeps nagging at me: Trick Williams. With the “Eras Collide” trademark WWE recently filed for, you have to wonder if this is the moment they officially launch him into the WrestleMania main event picture. He’s been crushing media appearances, the crowd reactions keep growing, and there are rumors WWE has had to adjust plans because of how hot he is right now.

Logan Paul is also very much in play. Him winning would absolutely set the internet on fire, in the worst way. But, that doesn’t mean it’s off the table. In fact, it almost feels too perfect. Something tells me the masked man ruins The Vision’s chance at having his moment though. If Seth Rollins is pulling strings behind the scenes, it’s kind of genius. The Vision has been stalled and unable to move forward in his absence.

I’m completely torn on this one, but I’m not going with the boring, typical pick.

Prediction: Trick Williams

Women’s Elimination Chamber Match: Tiffany Stratton vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka vs. Kiana James vs. Raquel Rodriguez

This is such an unexpected six. But it’s a stacked six, which is what makes this match so fascinating. There are multiple WrestleMania paths coming out of this, and that uncertainty is exactly why this Chamber match feels so important.

One big question is Rhea Ripley. After losing the tag team titles, does she pivot and try to save WrestleMania by being the one to challenge Jade Cargill? On the other side, Liv Morgan’s prophecy looms large. If things go her way, Raquel Rodriguez could walk out with the championship at WrestleMania while Liv leaves with gold of her own, fully validating everything she’s been teasing.

They’ve also flirted with the idea of Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill. But with Charlotte not actually in the Chamber, Alexa Bliss winning could lead to Flair forcing herself into a triple threat scenario at WrestleMania. There are honestly so many directions this could go.

Still, when it comes down to it, I’m going with Raquel Rodriguez. It feels like her time. She held things down while Liv Morgan was injured, has quietly had a breakout year, and this is the perfect moment to reward that consistency with a true main-title run.

Prediction: Raquel Rodriguez

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. AJ Lee

This matchup is a bit surprising, especially since it feels like a natural WrestleMania showdown. Yet here we are getting Becky Lynch vs. AJ Lee at Elimination Chamber.

On the surface, it makes sense. The event is in Chicago, the home base of CM Punk and AJ Lee, which adds an extra layer of intrigue. But with this being the final main roster PLE before WrestleMania, it is hard to imagine the title changing hands here.

If anything, this screams disqualification finish. I can see AJ whooping Becky’s ass, setting up a decisive rematch on the grandest stage of them all.

The wild card is whether Maxxine Dupri or Natalya factor into the equation and how their involvement could shift the outcome. Still, no matter how it plays out, I have a tough time believing the championship changes hands before April.

Prediction: Ends in Disqualification
