Your guide to TUW 27: The Final Redemption Battle Royale

Read Time:1 Minute, 56 Second

The fifth round of The Ultimate Writer Season 5 is officially here… After TUW 27 comes to an end, it will gives us our final contestant that will join our two finalist in the season’s finale. We will also see our last batch of eliminated competitors.

If you don’t already know, The Ultimate Writer is a competition that features 12 of the best combat sports content creators around the world in a competition where views matter. Winners this season are determined weekly. But for this second-to-last round, it will be two weeks long and the contestant’s highest viewed piece of content each week will to go head-to-head to determine the winner.

The Scrap staff participating in TUW Season 5 will be competing for the grand prize of $150 and their choice of a WWE or UFC NFT (Non-Fungible Token).

The Best Matchup in TUW History (So Far)?

Yup, it could very well be! We’ve had Battle Royale’s in the past, but this one is absolutely stacked. We expect it to break some viewership records as well, with how things have been going recently… In the only matchup of the card, it will be Chris Presnell vs. Katie Vega vs. Shawn Bitter vs. Juan Reneo vs. Andonis Steffanou for the final spot in the finale.

Since TUW and The Scrap encourages collaboration pieces and views go to both contestants, if for whatever reason we have a tie in this matchup, both creators will move on to the final matchup. All five are worthy and are the best the site has to offer. So let’s see who comes out on top over these next two weeks!

Don’t Forget…

Joey Els and Austin Luff will be sitting pretty these next two weeks as they prepare content for the finale. Joey has potential to join Katie as the only winners to be named The Ultimate Writer twice. He could also however, be the first to do it back-to-back. As for Austin, he joins his first finale and will do so as the standout this season. He’s been in EVERY TUW in history so far, but could we finally see Canada’s first-ever Ultimate Writer this time? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
