The Scrap has officially launched a Patreon account.

At the end of 2018, two college roommates got together to see if they could somehow, someway impact the oversaturated and unoriginal MMA media space. Combining their love of pro wrestling and mixed martial arts, The Scrap was born, a space for creative combat sports content and thought-provoking pieces.

Over the last four years, The Scrap has grown into a media hub of diverse creative content that can be consumed across various platforms. It has become a place where people could have a voice in the media space, create a passionate following, and ultimately get paid better or equivalent to site’s that have been around longer.

We never wanted to be the best, we’re here to be the most original. But it cost money to do so. That is why we’re excited to unveil The Scrap Sheet! Maintaining a site like The Scrap, and an incredible talented staff of content creators can get expensive. With your subscription to TSS, it will allow us to continue growing in quality, and allow us to continue paying above the standard wage in the combat sports media space. It will also afford us the time to do this more regularly, and allow us to take things to the next level in terms of marketing and networking.
