Card Preview & Predictions for Worlds Collide 2025

As Worlds Collide draws near, anticipation is building for one of WWE’s most unique and unpredictable events. With talent from NXT, the main roster, and AAA stepping into the spotlight, alliances will be tested and new rivalries may emerge. We break down each match and give predictions on how things might shake out when these worlds truly collide:

AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo de Vikingo (c) vs. Chad Gable

The highly anticipated Worlds Collide event will see WWE’s Chad Gable take on newly crowned AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo in a first-time-ever matchup.

In the lead-up to the showdown, Vikingo made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw. There he was ambushed in the crowd by Gable during a Triple Threat Match featuring Gable, Dragon Lee, and Penta. Penta capitalized on the distraction and pinned Gable to secure his spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Just days before the attack, Vikingo captured the prestigious AAA Mega Championship on May 31 at AAA Alianzas in Mexico City, further raising the stakes for this cross-promotional clash.

Realistically, there’s no way WWE takes the title off Vikingo this soon after his big win. But this could be the beginning of a bigger story… One where El Grande Americano steps up to pursue the gold and seek revenge for his ally, Chad Gable.

Quick Pick Predictions:

  • Joey: El Hijo de Vikingo
  • Rags: El Grande Americano

NXT North American Championship: “All Ego” Ethan Page (c) vs. Rey Fenix vs. Laredo Kid vs. Je’Von Evans

The NXT North American Championship is up for grabs in a high-stakes Fatal 4-Way at Worlds Collide. Ethan Page puts his title on the line against NXT’s rising star Je’Von Evans, SmackDown’s high-flying Rey Fenix, and AAA standout Laredo Kid.

Page claimed the gold from Ricky Saints in a surprising win on the May 27 episode of NXT, only to be immediately surrounded by hungry challengers from across the wrestling world. While Saints’ short reign raised eyebrows, many see Page’s run as a transitional move. Is WWE setting the stage for Je’Von Evans’ breakout moment? Or is Laredo Kid’s inclusion a calculated move to introduce him to the WWE Universe with a bang—and possibly a title?

With four dynamic athletes, each with something to prove, anything can happen. Will Worlds Collide deliver another shocking outcome?

Quick Pick Predictions:

  • Joey: Laredo Kid
  • Rags: Je’Von Evans

Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice vs. Dalys & Chik Tomenta

Former NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer teams up with Lola Vice. They’ll face AAA’s Dalys and Chik Tormenta in tag team action.

Vaquer dropped her title to Jacy Jayne on May 27 following a chaotic moment where Dalys and Chik Tormenta attempted to interfere, only to be stopped by Vice. While the match itself feels somewhat thrown together, it hints at a deeper history between Vaquer and the AAA stars that has yet to be fully explained on TV. Meanwhile, Vice and Vaquer have shared brief moments of camaraderie on past episodes of NXT, though nothing consistent.

Now that Vaquer has is on the main roster, this bout could serve a dual purpose—perhaps even as a launching point for Lola Vice. There have been whispers that she may be main roster bound as well. But, with a wave of women already called up and Jordynne Grace reportedly on her way, NXT will need new faces to step up.

It’ll be interesting to see how WWE books this one. Vaquer likely won’t be eating a loss so soon after her call-up. But if Lola Vice were to turn on her partner, it could give AAA a significant win and spark a new feud in the process.

Quick Pick Predictions:

  • Joey & Rags: Stephanie Vaquer & Lola Vice

Legado Del Fantasma vs. El Higo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown & Pagano

Legado del Fantasma looks to reestablish unity in a trios clash against AAA’s explosive team of El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown.

Tension has been brewing within Legado, with Escobar openly criticizing Angel and Berto following a string of losses. However, momentum may be shifting after the duo scored a much-needed win over Rey Fenix and Je’Von Evans heading into Worlds Collide. Still, fans continue to question Berto’s commitment. He has been half-invested in recent weeks.

This match could be a turning point. If Legado del Fantasma wants to make a serious impact on the main roster, they’ll need to show they’re on the same page. But AAA’s trio brings chaos and unpredictability, so nothing is guaranteed.

Quick Pick Predictions:

  • Joey: El Higo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown & Pagano
  • Rags: Legado Del Fantasma

LWO vs. Aero Star, Octagón Jr. & Mr. Iguana

LWO is set to collide with AAA’s finest in a high-octane Six-Man Tag Team Match at Worlds Collide. Representing WWE, Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro face off against the electrifying trio of Octagón Jr., Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana.

Expect chaos, innovation, and fireworks. With this much talent in the ring, predicting a winner is nearly impossible. This one could truly go either way.

Quick Pick Predictions:

  • Joey: LWO
  • Rags: Aero Star, Octagon Jr. & Mr. Iguana
