WWE Raw: Live Results from January 28, 2019

The Scrap has results for every match and promo on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.

Advertised for tonight: Seth Rollins, Ronda Rousey, Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin, Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre, women’s tag team qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber, and more.

Seth Rollins comes out and celebrates his win last night. Fans chant, “you deserve it.” Rollins all he’s ever wanted to do in life is main event WrestleMania and point at the sign. Says WrestleMania is the beginning of the journey: he can go to SmackDown and challenge Daniel Bryan or stay on Raw and challenge Brock Lesnar. The crowd chants, “take his belt.”

Triple H interrupts. Says he challenged Rollins to bring back the old him. Claims Rollins needs to make his decision tonight and Becky Lynch will need to decide tomorrow night on SmackDown. Dean Ambrose interrupts. Says Triple H never believed in Rollins, has always tried to stop them. He wants a match with Rollins tonight. Triple H walks off and Ambrose gets in his face, mocking needing permission from Vince McMahon.

Seth Rollins def. Dean Ambrose.

Renee Young announces Ronda Rousey’s Women’s Championship Open Challenge for later tonight.

After break, Ambrose is in the center of the ring sitting down. He says he has something serious to say. Nia Jax and Tamina interrupt and come out for the first qualifying match. Qualifiers will enter the Elimination Chamber for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Jax gets in Ambrose face, Jax attacks Ambrose from behind. He leaves to the locker room.

Women’s Team Team Championship Eliminator Qualifying Match: Nia Jax & Tamina def. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James.

Backstage there’s an interview with Kurt Angle, after being humiliated by Drew McIntyre.

Baron Corbin def. Kurt Angle.

After the match, Corbin continues his assault on Angle.

Backstage, Finn Balor is limping as he’s making his way to the arena.

Back from break, Balor says last night he went toe-to-toe with Lesnar, but he makes no excuses, he was beaten. Says although he’s hurt, he won’t keep his head down. Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley come out and begin their cocky remarks. Balor disses Lashley, and then Lashley attacks Balor.

The Revival def. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder.

Charly Caruso interviews Daniel Bryan and Rowan backstage. Asks about Rollins. Bryan says he will not wait until WrestleMania 35 to end Rollins hopes.

Elias comes out. Says it’s interesting the WWE is behind him tonight, cause he gave them a chance. He tells everyone to shut up so he can sing, but is interrupted by Jeff Jarrett. He addresses what Elias did to him last night. Road Dogg comes out wearing a Lynch shirt. Tells Elias to play with himself on his own time. Dogg and Jarrett start singing for the WWE Universe, while making their way to the ring. Elias attacks them both. Jarrett tries to get his revenge, tries to break his guitar on Elias, but Elias counters and does it to him instead, for a second time.

Backstage, Dana Brooke said that Ember Moon got hurt which is why she’s Natalya’s partner. Brooke says she’s better than Moon and Natalya.

Women’s Team Team Championship Eliminator Qualifying Match: Riott Squad def. Natalya & Dana Brooke.

Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring after the commercial break. The crowd cheers Becky’s name. Rousey says if you can’t dream big, what’s the use of dreaming at all. As Rousey reflects on her year, the crowd continues to boo her. Rousey says Sasha Banks gave her the fight of her life. The crowd continues with their Becky chants. Rousey gives in to the crowd, pointing at the WrestleMania banner. Rousey knows Lynch is watching and acknowledges her choice. The crowd barely lets Rousey talks. Bayley interrupts, accepts Rousey’s open challenge.

Raw Women’s Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (C) def. Bayley.

Both women shake hands after the match. Becky Lynch comes out and the crowd erupts. Lynch is limping her way to the ring, after sustaining a knee injury at The Royal Rumble. Rousey stares at Lynch intensely. Lynch grabs a mic and says she told Rousey she would find her way back to her, again. Says she dropped Rousey last time she was on the show, and even after she did they, Rousey never came to her to prove she’s the baddest woman on the planet. Lynch says she came back to find Rousey, to prove that she is not the baddest. Says she doesn’t need much time to think, she’s choosing to fight Rousey at WrestleMania. Vows to break her mystique, take her title, and kick her ass in front of the whole world.

Rousey grabs a mic while the crowd boos. Asks Lynch to come healthy, because she wants to beat the best version of Lynch. Says she could kill her with her bare hands, could break her face faster than Lynch can say Nia Jax. Rousey says she’s been a household name for a decade and owns any ring she steps in. Rousey throws the mic furiously, while Lynch smirks.

Backstage, Braun Strowman shakes Seth Rollins’ hand and congratulates him on his Royal Rumble win.

Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre ends in a no-contest after Baron Corbin interferes.

Strowman destroys Corbin, but McIntyre comes to his aid.

Back from break, announced for next week: The Boss N Hug Connection will take on Nikki Cross & Alicia Fox for a spot in the Elimination Chamber for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar make their way to the ring. Heyman says Rollins only has one option for WrestleMania: challenging Daniel Bryan. Rollins interrupts. He goes right after Lesnar, ends up getting F5’d by the champ, three times in a row. Rollins ends up making it up to his feet, asking Lesnar if that is all he got. Rollins gets a fourth F5 because of it.
