The next teaser for The Ultimate Fighter 33 dropped after the first episode, and like the trailer, it gave fans a look at what’s to come. From the brief glimpse we got, several details were revealed—including the remainder of the first-round matchups.
Now that the season is officially underway, let’s break down everything we know, and what else we were able to spot in the latest TUF 33 teaser:
First-Round TUF 33 Matchups
We already know Joseph Morales defeated Eduardo Henrique to move on in the competition. Next up is Richard Martins vs. Daniil Donchenko. They’re also building up the beef between Rodrigo Sezinando and Diego Bianchini—a fight that, as we previously confirmed, does happen.

What to Expect This Season
They teased Andreeas Binder struggling to make weight, but we also see him covered in blood after his fight. Furkatbek Yokubov is shown crying—whether it’s from getting emotional during the lead-up or possibly due to injury remains unclear. We also see an emotional Imanol Rodriguez and Rodrigo Sezinando breaking down in his confessional. This season, unlike recent ones, seems to feature fighters who are truly willing to wear their hearts on their sleeves.
The Coaches Challenge
It looks like this year’s coach challenge is a game of pickleball between Chael Sonnen and Daniel Cormier. They’ve really toned things down over the years… What used to be super over-the-top and extravagant has become much more low-key.
Former TUF Competitors
With the show celebrating its 20th anniversary, several former TUF winners, coaches, champions, and returning contestants will be featured throughout the season. In the sneak peek shared after Episode 1, appearances by TJ Dillashaw, Rashad Evans, Robert Whittaker, Carla Esparza, Rose Namajunas, and Raquel Pennington were teased.
