Card Preview & Predictions for NXT Great American Bash
NXT Great American Bash 2025 is starting to take shape. Below, we break down each key matchup as they are announced and share predictions for each match:

NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Yoshiki Inamura
In a matchup no one saw coming, Oba Femi is set to defend the NXT Championship against Yoshiki Inamura, who’s currently on excursion from Pro Wrestling NOAH. What started as a surprise pairing has grown into a must-see bout, as Inamura has steadily won over the NXT audience with his personality and presence.
Femi has been nothing short of dominant since capturing the title in January. Though his reign started off quietly, WWE has made it clear they’re building his legacy now. They are giving him real competition and stacking impressive defenses to solidify his spot at the top.
This clash promises to be a brutal, hard-hitting affair between two powerhouses. And while WWE arguably owes NOAH a title nod (after all, they did allow Omos a tag title run in Japan) don’t expect it to come here. Inamura might be aiming to make history as the first non-WWE talent to win the NXT Championship. But, Oba’s reign isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Will the champion continue his path of destruction? Or can Inamura pull off one of the biggest shocks in NXT history?
Quick Pick Predictions:
- Joey & Rags: Oba Femi

Jordynne Grace & Blake Monroe vs. Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley
Just one night before Evolution, Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe will team up to take on Fatal Influence.
Grace earned her shot at the NXT Women’s Championship by winning the Evolution Eliminator Tournament. With her title clash against Jacy Jayne looming, tensions have only escalated. The arrival of Blake Monroe sent shockwaves through NXT, shaking up the power dynamics and prompting Fatal Influence to send a violent message by putting her through a table.
On the July 1 episode of NXT, Monroe returned the favor. She helped Grace secure a pivotal win, further cementing their alliance heading into this high-stakes showdown.
This one should be a banger. With Blake making her in-ring debut, don’t expect her to take a clean loss—if she loses at all. And chances are, the team that wins at Great American Bash might not be the one standing tall at Evolution. So if Jordynne is walking out with the title on Sunday, Fatal Influence stealing the win here wouldn’t be a shock. Honestly, this one could go either way.
Will Grace and Monroe shut Fatal Influence down before the big title fight? Or will the momentum shift once again heading into Evolution?
Quick Pick Predictions:
- Joey & Rags: Jordynne Grace & Blake Monroe

TNA World Championship Contract Signing for Slammiversary 2025
A huge TNA World Championship contract signing is set to take place live at the Great American Bash.
Trick Williams is officially slated to defend his title in a Triple Threat Match at Slammiversary against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana. Ever since defeating Hendry at Battleground and dubbing himself the face of “Trick-NA,” the champ has drawn the ire of the TNA locker room.
Now, Hendry is looking to reclaim what was his. Santana on the other hand is out to prove he belongs at the top of the mountain. Both challengers are ready to do whatever it takes to bring the gold back to TNA. But before fists fly at Slammiversary, all three men will meet face to face to make it official… And it could get explosive.

Women’s North American Championship: Sol Ruca (c) vs. Izzi Dame
The NXT Women’s North American Championship will be on the line as Sol Ruca defends her title against rising powerhouse Izzi Dame.
Ruca has thrived during her reign, with her friendship and alliance with Zaria pushing her to new levels as champion. But standing in their way now is Dame and the ever-growing threat of The Culling. Recently, Sol and Zaria extended a hand to a conflicted Tatum Paxley, but the offer was rejected. Instead, Paxley aligned herself with Dame, a decision that immediately paid off when she helped Izzi pin Ruca in a tag team match.
For Izzi Dame, this title opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time. With Paxley by her side, she has more momentum than ever and a real chance to capture gold for The Culling.
Meanwhile, there may be cracks forming in the bond between Ruca and Zaria. Subtle tension has begun to surface, and with both women now entered into the Women’s Tag Team Championship Match at Evolution, the focus may be shifting. If Ruca drops the title here, it wouldn’t be surprising. Her future looks even bigger and main event status seems inevitable.
The question is, can Sol survive another clash with The Culling, or is it Izzi Dame’s time to rise?
Quick Pick Predictions:
- Joey & Rags: Izzi Dame
