5 Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship prospects to keep an eye on

Read Time:3 Minute, 26 Second

Bare Knuckle fighting has been taking off faster than most people anticipated. What David Fedlman and BKFC have been able to do in the short time they’ve been in the limelight is impressive. From massive crowds to massive signings, the promotion has been able to cater to their loyal fanbase and the casual fan.

With many fighters starting their careers with BKFC, and others coming from the UFC in hopes to find success in a new sport, we decided to highlight some of the best prospect to watch.

Read about the 5 Bare Knuckle prospects with under three fights to keep an eye on.

Rachael Ostovich

Rachael Ostovich‘s BKFC debut may have come to a surprise to some. But she’s always game for a good scrap. After main eventing her first fight for the promotion by beating Paige VanZant, Ostovich has shown that she could be BKFC’s next big female talent.

She has tons of eyes on her, even more so now. She also avenged her UFC loss to PVZ. So what’s next? A scrap with Pearl Gonzalez may very well be on the horizon, and would be the best next move to make for Racheal as she continues to maneuver in Bare Knuckle FC.

Famez

I’m obsessed with Famez. In his BKFC debut, he has an impressive first-round KO. Not only did he impress, he’s a young talent that the promotion is able to build slowly. It’s going too be interesting to see how BKFC builds these fighters who have decided to start their career doing Bare Knuckle Boxing.

Famez has all the makings to be a mega star, and if we’re honest, his music is equally impressive. There’s not doubt the rapper/singer has a successful career ahead of him, and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds come September 17th.

Taylor Starling

“Killa Bee” is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on in the division after going 2-0 under the promotion’s banner. With her crisp boxing, and in your face style, Taylor Starling has been turning heads every time she steps in the ring. She is someone they should continue to build, so her next moves are going to be critical as she continues to shine in BKFC.

So who should be next? A fight against Jenny Savage to avenge her MMA loss may be the next best move. Savage is looking to bounce back from her loss to Britain Hart, so why not fight another rising prospect?

Chad Mendes

If feels weird to call Chad Mendes a prospect, but truth is — he hasn’t fought in Bare Knuckle yet and with his experience, he could do very well. Since he has yet to make his debut, he makes our list as his makes his return to competition as a prospect in hopes to reach contender status under a new sport.

We are extremely excited to see Mendes fight again, so it’ll be great to see how BKFC builds him, who they choose as his first opponent, and how he does in his debut. We know it’s hard to adjust and it’ll show in that first fight. Win or lose, Mendes has found a new home and fight fans are excited to see how he does.

Pearl Gonzalez

Pearl Gonzalez looked slick in her Bare Knuckle FC debut. And having one of the best boxers of our generation in Amanda Serrano by her side will only make her improve more. We’re definitely excited and intrgured to see what her back in there.

Though Pearl’s UFC stint didn’t go as planned, and her last few MMA bouts didn’t go her way – Bare Knuckle could be the boost she needed to ignite her love for fighting again. With a division full of talent, it’s going to be nice to see who stands out in the next few bouts to eventually challenge for a title. Pear is definitely one of them.
