UFC Fight Pass Recap: CFFC 140 & Tuff-N-Uff 142
UFC Fight Pass delivered an action-packed night of regional MMA on Friday, March 14, showcasing CFFC 140 and Tuff-N-Uff 142.
CFFC 140 Main Card
Yaroslav Amosov vs. Curtis Millender
Ukrainian former Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov (28-1) faced American UFC and Bellator veteran Curtis Millender (21-11). Amosov suffered his first career loss in November 2023, but despite the setback, he hasn’t missed a step, wowing viewers with his performance.
The main event began with Amosov looking composed and measured. The talented grappler circled the outside, evading Millender’s long punches while landing low kicks. Millender spent the opening minute pressuring Amosov, gauging distance, and threatening with kicks. A glancing right hand from Millender seemed to wake Amosov up, sparking a more aggressive offense.
Amosov worked behind his jab, backing Millender toward the cage while nullifying his attacks. He then landed a powerful overhand left, followed by a well-timed counter left that wobbled Millender. Gaining confidence, Amosov used his jab to force Millender against the cage, setting up a takedown. Millender attempted a guillotine but failed, nearly scrambling to his feet before Amosov showcased his grappling prowess. Controlling the fight on the canvas, Amosov capitalized on an opening for a choke as Millender tried to create space.
Result: Yaroslav Amosov via 1st-Round Submission (Anaconda Choke)
CFFC Vacant Lightweight Championship
Omar Rzgoev vs. Jesse Roberts
The co-main event featured a showdown between UFC-level lightweights. Armenia’s Omar Rzgoev (4-1) took on American Jesse Roberts (9-1) for the vacant CFFC lightweight championship.
Rzgoev started sharp in this championship bout, chipping away at Roberts’ lead leg while controlling the center of the cage. Meanwhile, Roberts prioritized footwork, bouncing around as he navigated the striking exchanges. Both fighters relied heavily on feints early on. About a minute in, Rzgoev began letting his punches and kicks flow, forcing Roberts to circle with his back to the cage. The undefeated prospect mixed his striking levels well, consistently landing jabs to the body. Roberts remained composed despite struggling to find success early.
Growing impatient, Rzgoev pressed forward, throwing caution to the wind. As the round neared its end, Roberts started letting his hands go. After an awkward clinch exchange, Roberts’ patience paid off—he landed a stiff jab flush on Rzgoev’s jaw, sending him to the canvas. Seizing the moment, Roberts followed up with knockout punches to secure the finish.
Result: Jesse Roberts via 1st-Round KO (Punches)

Tuff-N-Uff 142 Main Card
Jamie Siraj (C) vs. Diego Brandao (TNU Featherweight Championship)
Brazilian fighting legend Diego Brandao (30-22) made his promotional debut in the main event against Canadian featherweight champion Jamie Siraj (12-3). The 52-fight veteran stunned viewers with a highlight-reel performance.
Brandao, 37, made a statement in this title fight, opening with heavy feints while pressing forward. Just ten seconds in, he launched a flying knee at Siraj against the cage. Siraj wisely circled away from the wild attacks, but Brandao kept targeting his lead leg with feints. Siraj looked to turn the tide, pressing Brandao against the cage and securing a body lock. He landed a few knees to the thigh before attempting a trip. But, Brandao stalled the attempt, forcing a positional shift. In a high-level scramble, Brandao came out on top but chose to return to his feet. As he stood, Siraj attempted a calf slicer, but Brandao negated it and landed a hard body kick.
Siraj again pressured forward, controlling Brandao against the cage. But, Brandao reversed position and secured a massive double-leg takedown into side control. The moment was short-lived though, as they quickly returned to striking. Measuring Siraj at the center, Brandao threw a right high kick, then followed with a highlight-reel spinning wheel kick to the temple. The strike sent Siraj crashing to the canvas, and Brandao sealed the victory with follow-up punches.
Result: Diego Brandao via 1st-Round TKO (Spinning Wheel Kick & Punches)
Featherweight Co-main Event
Canaan Kawaihae vs. Marlon Gonzales
This featherweight matchup between Canaan Kawaihae (9-2) and Marlon Gonzalez (15-6-2) did not need the judges’ scorecards.
Kawaihae opened the fight by crossing the center of the cage. He threw a kick to the body and then rushed toward Gonzalez. Once back in open space, Gonzales started to have brief moments of success. He was successful in the striking exchanges and beat Kawaihae to the punch. However, this exchange would be the demise of Gonzales as Kawaihae timed a takedown on the vulnerable striker. Once Kawaihae got the fight to the canvas, Gonzales had no answer for the superior grappler. He transitioned to Gonzales’s back and locked in a head and arm choke from the top position.
Result: Canaan Kawaihae via 1st-Round Submission (Neck Crank)
